Basic formula for finding out the position vector of Centre of Mass and coordinates of centre of mass of a system of particles. Two questions on position of centre of mass of extended bodies in contact have been discussed.

Motion of Centre of Mass:

In this part we derived the expression of velocity of centre of mass and expression of acceleration of centre of mass. Finally it has been proved that the centre of mass is the point where whole of the mass the system can be considered to be concentrated.
