Sudipto Bose

Hi, I am Sudipto Bose (Bose sir). I have been teaching physics at the 10+2 level (CBSE/ISC) and for various competitive exams like NEET, JEE, etc. for the last 27 years. Over these years, I have mentored a large number of students who have secured a very high rank in these exams. Through this web site, I want to share my knowledge and experience that I acquired over these years to help those students who fail to avail of the classroom teachings of professional coaching classes. Best of Luck.

Motion Under Gravity

The most important example of motion in a straight line with constant acceleration is motion under gravity.
The acceleration due to gravity can be considered constant (g = 9.8 m/s2) if the height of the body above ground is very small in comparison to the radius of earth. As radius of earth is 6400km, in most of the cases in kinematics value of acceleration of gravity is taken constant.
